Microsoft Inspire Day Two – Wrap-up From Las Vegas
Innovation to drive partner success
After an exhilarating first day at Microsoft Inspire, we reconvened at the T-Mobile Arena for our Day 2 Corenote, featuring Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner. She shared the exciting news that since the launch of One Commercial Partner a year ago, partners have achieved over 5 billion dollars in sales. She announced expanded opportunities for partners to co-sell with Microsoft this year, including creating and managing their own cloud marketplaces within Microsoft AppSource.
We heard from Jason Zander, Executive Vice President of the Microsoft Azure Team in the Cloud and AI Group, and Ron Markezich, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft 365, about new initiatives that will help partners achieve digital transformation for their customers. These include the availability of a free version of Microsoft Teams, prebuilt services to help partners leverage AI and IoT in their apps, and investments that will expand Azure’s global network infrastructure.
In one example of transformation to a modern workplace, we learned how Microsoft partner Dimension Data is helping the Heart Research Institute use Microsoft Teams to streamline collaboration in their international research projects. This work will ultimately support the prevention and treatment of cardio-vascular disease.
You can re-watch the Corenote or find sessions you missed on-demand within 24-48 hours here.
Wednesday: a day of shared experiences
Tomorrow’s Microsoft Inspire agenda features more shared experiences that will bring partners together with Microsoft Ready employee attendees to connect, learn, and collaborate.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella gives our concluding Corenote address at T-Mobile Arena starting at 8:30 AM Pacific Time. Both partner and employee audiences will hear the same message to help align the entire Microsoft community behind a single vision for the coming year. Bring your badge, and remember that items larger than a backpack will not be permitted. We encourage you to eat breakfast beforehand. Light refreshments will be available at T-Mobile Arena from 7:00–7:30 AM.
Area General Sessions
Attendees from across our 14 worldwide regions will come together to discuss local opportunities and partner program initiatives, helping to build stronger relationships and ensure even greater success. These sessions run from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Find your region’s session here.
Shared sessions organized around industry verticals will enable partners to exchange ideas and best practices and network with Microsoft Industry leaders, subject matter experts and peers. You can find those sessions here.
The day will conclude with the eagerly anticipated One Celebration at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If you were planning to purchase a guest pass for the One Celebration, please be advised that we are now sold out. View event details below.
